"And the Oscar goes to" - Words that the world is waiting for we will hear on Sunday evening, March 27, and what's the most important, the Oscars finally have a host again. The academy announced that Wanda Sykes, Regina Hall, and Amy Schummer will take the lead this year's ceremony.

According to the president of Hulu Originals and ABC Entertainment, Craig Erwich, "They are one of the funniest women in comedy today, and we're thrilled to have them at the helm to deliver an incredible show full of unforgettable moments and laughter."

The Power of the Dog with twelve nominations is the most obvious choice for most people, but as history showed, that doesn't always have to be a correct scenario. Behind Jane Campion's movie, with ten nominations, is Dune, and then with seven nominations is Belfast and West Side Story. Another possibility could be CODA, a dark horse of many recent festivals and a dangerous opponent in the battle for this year's Oscars.

The ceremony will be broadcast around the world. In 2020 it was air live in more than 225 countries. The event will be available to watch on ABC in the United States (8/7c), Sky Cinema Oscars in the United Kingdom (1 am BST), Canal+ in Poland and France (2 am CEST), and on ProSieben in Germany (2 am CEST). The current list of TV channels showing the ceremony is able to check on the Oscars website.
